| Bens musical career began at age 14 when he convinced his father that paying for Piano lessons was an investment in his son's future. He was right, 18 months later Ben had completed grade two in Piano study and had started his first band. He then moved to the United States where he began playing drums in a military marching band. However, rock and roll was calling and the rudiments of military drumming soon gave way to the rolling fills and double kickers of Heavy Metal. Leaving school at age 17 to tour the east cost of the US with metal band Exalted confirmed that a life of musical enjoyment lay ahead for Ben. On His return to Australia in 1995, Ben began playing guitar and subsequently joined Sequoia, a local 10 piece acoustic act. Sequoia then went on to win the New South Wales battle of the bands which funded the recording of their début EP Russell. Unfortunately, Sequoia separated shortly after this but from it's ashes arose Crocked Morgahna. Crocked also release one EP before going their separate ways. Through his studies of electronic and electrical engineering, Ben developed a keen interest in computing and in 1999 moved in to the world of Digital Audio. Consequently, he now works in the IT industry, studies computing and runs a private PC based recording studio in Ballarat Victoria.
